All PMP(r), certificate holders must adhere to the PMI Code of Conduct. The PMI Code of Conduct can be divided into four sections: respect, fairness and honesty. There are both mandatory and aspirational standards within these four sections. The difference is that PMP(r) must adhere to mandatory standards or risk losing their title. Aspirational standards can be optional.
