Bio of the Author
Erdal Ozkaya is a Cybersecurity Expert with Business Development, Management and Academic Skills. He focuses on Cyberspace Security and sharing his real-life experience as a Speaker, Lecturer, Security Adviser and Author. Erdal is passionate about reaching communities and creating cyber-aware campaigns. He also uses innovative technologies and approaches to address the privacy and information security needs of every person and organization around the globe.
He is the author of many cybersecurity books, as well as security courseware and exams for different vendors. He is a highly-regarded technical expert and speaker. His most recent awards include: Microsoft Circle of Excellence Platinum Club (2017); NATO Center of Excellence (2016) Security Professional of Year by MEA Channel Magazine (2015), Professional of The Year Sydney (2014), and many other speaker of the years awards at conferences.
He is also a Global Instructor of Year award winner from EC Council and Microsoft Erdal. He is also a part time lecturer at Australian Charles Sturt University.
Dr. Rafiqul Muslim has more than 15 years experience in teaching and research at universities around Australia and abroad. He is currently an Associate Professor in Computer Science at Charles Sturt University, Australia, and the Cyber Security Research Group (CSRG), since 2014.
His research interests include Cybersecurity, with a particular focus on malware analysis and classification as well as dark web authentication and dark web threat analysis. Security in cloud, privacy in social networks, and Internet of Things (IoT) are all areas of his expertise. Dr. Islam has served as the General Chair of Cahir and as a member on the organizing committee and TPC in several international conferences. He also serves as an editor for different International Journals.
He has a strong publishing record with more than 150 peer-reviewed research papers, Book chapters, and Books. He is also one the CSU chief investigators of the $140 million Cybersecurity CRC. He contributes to projects related to Resilient Networks and Security and configuration management for IoT system, Platform & Architecture cybersecurity as a service, and malware detection and elimination.
